MPPAW’s mentorship program promises a revolutionary development path for both mentors and mentees, nurturing their skills and fostering professional growth. Inspiring, simple, and enriching, this program takes a step further in shaping the future of Minnesota professionals engaged in Psychology Applied to Work.

Commitment:

12 Month period

Minimum of one hour meeting per month

One 1.5 hour meeting quarterly for group/peer mentoring

Timeline:

November 3rd- December 15th: Mentorship Application Open

January 10th*: Mentor Training

January 15th*: Pairings & Welcome Meeting

March: Q1 Peer/Group Check In

June: Q2 Peer/Group Check In

September: Q3 Peer/Group Check In

December: Q4 Wrap Up Celebration

Mentee: Students, recent graduates, early career professionals, individuals switching careers/fields. MPPAW membership

Mentors: Professionals in applied psychology or related fields. While not necessary, would prefer that mentors had an MPPAW membership.

Individual and group mentoring will be available, MPPAW mentoring co-chairs will work to match mentees and mentors accordingly.

Mentoring Co-Chairs (Board) Role:

Communication, organization, and pairing of mentees and mentors

Provide training and support to mentors and mentees

Facilitate quarterly peer support/group sessions
